How It Works
Every Cocoon account now has a personal referral link. You can find yours inside your account dashboard under the new Referrals tab.
Your link looks something like this:
https://cocoon-plugin.com/dashboard/?ref=CCN-XXXXXXShare it however you want — a message, a post, a chat. When someone signs up through your link and then subscribes to Cocoon Premium, you start earning.
What You Earn
Once your referred friend has been on a paid plan for 30 days, you unlock a claimable window of 30 free days of Cocoon Premium.
Windows stack. So if a friend stays subscribed for 90 days, you earn three claimable windows - that's 90 days of free premium you can claim over time.
There's a small variation for monthly subscribers who signed up with a promo code — those earn a window every 60 days instead, which mirrors how we handle affiliate validation periods to keep things consistent.

Claiming Your Rewards
Rewards don't auto-apply — you claim them yourself from your Referrals dashboard whenever you're ready. Each window is claimed individually, and they stack on top of each other if you already have active referral premium time running.
Head to Dashboard → Scroll Down → Referrals to see your friends, where they are in their journey, and which windows are ready to claim.
A Few Things Worth Knowing
Your friend doesn't get an instant discount. The referral program is a reward for you as the referrer, not a promo code for the person signing up. If you're looking for a way to share a discount, that's what our affiliate program is for.
Only paid subscriptions count. Rewards are tied to your friend's active Stripe subscription. If they cancel, windows stop accumulating — though any windows you've already earned stay yours to claim.
No gaming it. You can't refer yourself, and circular referral chains are blocked (so two friends can't just refer each other back and forth endlessly).
Why We Built It This Way
We wanted the reward to feel meaningful without creating incentives that don't make sense. Tying rewards to sustained subscriptions rather than just signups means you're rewarded when your friends actually find value in Cocoon - not just when they try it once.
It also means the math is fair. We're essentially sharing a slice of the revenue your referral generates, in the form of your own premium access. The longer your friends stay, the more you both benefit.
